Cosplay: Vocaloid "Lost Woods"

“Lost Woods” is something I randomly came up with 😐 You know that moment when writer’s block hits you full time and you just can’t think properly 😦
***
My 1st formal cosplay shoot but still not good enough. I notice that I am focusing more on bright colors 😐
I was invited by Mac after I announced publicly that I am free last Friday 😀 I was actually craving and longing for some action and so I was glad they had something in mind.
Their theme was Vocaloid, but I am not quite familiar with the version they came up with. Probably this was based on some random fan art. Some photos were also posted in my DeviantART page.

Travel Diary: Dinagsa 2012 (Cadiz City)

We’re taking you to NORTH side this time around 😀
Another travel post (and spam) for this month 🙂 And its just January~ There are 11 more months to go.~!
I have clearly explained myself about this and that when it comes to traveling with my previous Travel Post so I think long introductions are not so necessary this time.
We invaded Cadiz City and explored its colorful festival, DINAGSA.
To know more about Cadiz City you can read it HERE.
I specifically planned out the flow of my photos for this post for I will not explain by words.
I will let my photos talk to you and let it show you what is Dinagsa all about.
I am hoping that you will feel what I felt as well. By these pictures I want to share how colorful and playful this festival is 🙂 Enjoy. \(^▽^@)ノ

RESTRICTIONS: The following photos are not for the faint heart. (connection?)
CHARETU LANG. (LOL)

Okey I think that was a bit overrated for an introduction 😐 Forgive me for the high dosage of cocoa I had lately that cause me to write like this D:<
Now. We would like to share to you how to pose like a VOGUE model. (with an echo in the background)
(Serious talk) These were the extra photos we had during our Sinulog get away yesterday. And as I said on the earlier post, that this was an off theme for the festival so we will dump it HERE.
Starting off with this.

Travel Diary: Sinulog 2012 (Kabankalan)

ANOTHER (PHOTO) SPAM POST
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
We’re going SOUTH.

Yesterday I had my first ever Sinulog adventure with my Cosplay friends, Hitsuzen. Yes, this is my first experience of attending festivals outside Bacolod City. Sad it may sound but it is my reality. I am an adventurous person if given a “proper” chance but because of my father’s pre-historic beliefs I have been “restricted” for quite a long time. Not being able to do such things is very sad indeed considering my age and generation but I do not hate my father for that. Hate is such a  harsh description and he is my papa and I know he only wants the best and safest for his only daughter and child. (Guess this explains why? :} )

Now then, I was OF COURSE very happy that he did let me go (though he’s actually getting soft by and by). I believe papa is also training himself to learn the art of letting go for he and I knows that there will come  a day that I will have to go my own path whether he likes it or not (I’m just too good that I do not disobey him XD). Anyways, so there you go, my happiness yesterday was irreplaceable and thank you pops, :).

Sinulog Festival is Kabankalan’s City celebration of honoring the Sto. Nino. Other places in the Philippines also happen to have festivals that give honor to Sto. Nino under different festive name such as Ati-Atihan of Aklan, Dinagsa of Cadiz, Sinulog (also) of Cebu, Dinagyang of Iloilo and many more.

Analog Diary: Through the Years

That moment when I press and hear the shutter sound, the feeling is irreplaceable.”

Okey. So I finally decided to buy a Polaroid and yes I am one of those analog enthusiast out there. I support the  SAVE THE Polaroid PROJECT. I still appreciate those eras where digital is not the main stream. And one more thing I’d like to try in the future is having my own dark room (which is impossible as of the moment due to lack of “proper” space in our home). I want to try those stuffs I only see in the movies. I was also thrilled by the idea of filling a portion of my wall with all those Polaroid shots I will be taking! Yay I am in euphoria!

Outfit Diary: A Journey to the Forest

I was enchanted by the smell of the mosses around and decided to lay my blanket there and have a nice cup of tea.”

Mori Girl fashion recently emerged in 2007 in Japan. Mori means “forest” in Japanese, and the style concept is “a girl who looks like she is living in the forest”. The look is natural & earthy. The fictional archetype was declared as being the character of Hagu from Honey & Clover. The actual archetype of Mori Girl fashion is the actress Yuu Aoi, who as a matter of fact played Hagu in the Honey & Clover movie in 2006. Mori girl has developed not only as a style, but as a lifestyle as well! Quirky girls who love vintage clothing, pocket watches, tea, moss or going snooping in the grandma’s attic will feel right at home in this fashion style. Although mori girl is natural, it does not mean it is simple! Mori girl does have a little bit of complexity to it.
